Journey for pilgrims

Fiuhhh.... It has been a long time. Seems like I am dissapeared. The toughest part of my life has passed, dunno whether another one will come. Like I have mentioned before, on Feb my mentor took leave for 2 weeks. My life was so miserable back then. I went back on 9.15 (from company) every day (one time at 10), not because I had finished the job, it was because already late. It was a never ending job.

I took my leave on the next month, for 2.5 weeks. It was so exciting and wonderful journey. My family and relatives went for a tour to Israel. It was so amazing. You stepped into holyland. The same city as Jesus had lived before 2000 years ago. So many things to explore and to learn. My tour guide was a Jewish who can speak Indonesia very well. He is a Catholic, he is very deep when explaining the historical places in the Bible. All of us learnt a lot of Jewish culture there. How they still preserved this Sabbath day. They Sabbath day is on Friday-Saturday. And they can't work/do anything on that day, so they will stay at hotel. Even to press a button in the lift they can't. So there will be special lift for Sabbath which will stop in every floor!

Since we were coming near the passover (Easter, but they celebrated it for passover to celebrate their freedom from Egypt), the food was terrible. The hotel only provide "KOSHYER" food (like hallal for Muslim). no bread! We had to eat "roti tak beragi".

They can't mix cutlery/cooking utensil which are being use for milk and for meat. They have 2 separate cutlery.

Anyway, the weather is so nice. Cold and cozy, scenary also beautiful. In every historical places, surely there will be churc stand there. Beautiful churches.

You know what? When we passed the boundaries/check point in Isarel, the guard there were youngster. Really, they were guys and girls, so cool.

We went to Galilea, Jerussalem, Bethlehem, Dead Sea, Jordania. It was fun.

When we got back to Indonesia, we were so tired. Then Jiun Horng came to Jakarta. To be continue.......
